If your budget is that flexible, why not buy a vtr and put your 'budget' towards insurance?
What are you hoping to get out of a 1.1?

not worth it mite as well put the money in the bank and wait to get a bigger better faster car we all go thought it when we get ower first car i wasted a few k on my first car and wish had never borthed now

iirc sophia bush has turbod a 1.1. costs a few quid though so depends on your budget.

you wont really get much gain out of a 1.1 tbh your best bet is just and induction kit mate make it sound nicer
