#2theres alot ul need to change man, ecu, loom, inner loom, drive shafts, and with that extra bit of poke ur best off changin the drums for a disk set up 2 probably want the vtr gearbox also to make it reliable, the furio gearbox may make it quicker to 60 but not as strong as the vtr box
-
#3i have my old mk1 vtr with everything id need its just bashed up but i dont know if it would be easier to get the mk2 3 plug engine?
-
#4would it not be easier to slowly do the vtr up? if you really want i spose you could face lift it
-
#5jst put a decent str8 thru exhaust and a good enclosed induction kit on the furio, it wudnt b a million miles off a vtr then man
-
#6ye it would... mine got straight through pipes, cda air box, cammed and its runnin 87bhp
-
#7an then a vtr intake mani an u might b able to pass a vtr then!!!!!!!!!! haha
-
#8depends what vtr ur aimin for the 90bhp or the 98...
-
#9well go with the 90bhp then 4 arguments sake ha
-
#10still alot of money haha been chasin horses since ive had it haha
-
#11Reason for the swap is the 1.4 is dieing. leaks oil from sump which isnt alot to fix and also runs like a bag when cold and i think the head gasket is going so the money id spend sorting that engine i may aswell get a 1.6. no to 16v as i cant get insurance on it..........

#12im not 100% sure but u mite b able to swap the sump from the vtr onto the furio, an then jst get a head gasket man,
im not tryin to shatter ur vtr dreams or anytin ha i jst tink it wud b cheaper to fix the furios engine, how many miles are on the furio???

#13its now on 107000. Iv had a vtr lol so it wonter shatter my dream, it did when my vtr got wrote off though but i wouldnt mind another.
