alright guys, changed the alternator the other day after the brushes going, only one problem took the car for a run tonite just to give it a charge, and on returning right outside my house the alternator belt came off 
and no just that when i herd the belt coming of i lost my power steering? didnt know this was connected as its an electric pump? then went back out to the car 15min later to discover that the key fob wouldn't open the car! opend it with key then tryed to start car and totaly dead nothing atall!
checked everything was still there and connected and all looked well just no belt obv. have no idea whats happning any info would be well appreciated!
