How much weight do you roughly save, when you strip out the rear seats etc? thinking baout getting buckes and gti door cards to
.. any ideas anyone

#4Its worthwhile stripping out but unless your really commited to losing weight you wont have much of a gain.

#7just loosing the rear seats/trim isnt going to make much difference apart from making your car noisey, cold and uncomfortable imo like whats already been said unless your going full out i wouldnt bother

#8i fully stripped mine and i must admit i didnt think it wouldnt make a difference but i noticed straight away the difference so ill recomend it!

#12You will save the most weight replacing the front seats but then you have the inconvenience of having to use harnesses.
The back seats never really weigh much at all..
