R they mugging me off

    hi just wondered if u could help ihave a s reg vtr been good as gold then the other day went 2 the shop drove fine no probs at all got bck in it started fine went 2 pull away i had loss of power the car would go and cut out towed it home changed coil pac still the same but it starts and idles fine its when u accelrate it loses power & dies took it 2 garage thay change throttle body all the senors fuel pump & rely still the same then thay said ecu and they said 2 injectors burned out & earthed the ecu and burned it out i think thay have fucked it myself as had no probs b4 and was running fine no warnings and nothing showed up on a machine apart from a senor which thay changed have u heard of anything like this b4. asi think there just trying to mug me off thanx 4 ya time x x

    If your ECU 'earthed it self and burnt out' then your car wouldnt run or start at all.

    Tbh take it to the citroen garage and pay for a proepr diognostics, it costs more like £85 but they have better code reading equipment and can give you a specific problem and how to solve it.

    Dont let them fix it though as they will charge alot.
