Air filter

Air filter help (again) ok i know this is about the fifth time ive asked this question, but only had one decent persons help, and his car seemed different to mine.

    This time i have pictures!

But please only help if you KNOW what you're talking about.

Trying to fit a cone air filter, but ive got the saxo with the stupid air temp sensor in the air filter lid. The guy who helped me stuck a brether filter on the end of the hose, but im not sure that would work, here's what i did-

This is my pipe that would go between the cone air filter and the throttle body. The fat hose from the top of the standard air filter goes onto this, and so its sitting basically between the cone filter and the throttle body.

Is that as it should be?

for the rocker breather i've done the same as this-

    Saw it on another post.

Is that ok now? Or is there anything else i need?!

Awesome! So you've got the fat tube from the top of the standard airbox going to your blue silicone bit then?

ive got the blue tube from the inlet mani to the cda filter then ive got oil breather connected to the rocker cover where on the standard set up the pipe would re circulate into the air box pipe

he is refering to his own car, imo that looks right, but never seen that type of set up.. you have a breather and some sort of return it looks like, don't know what the specifics are of that model.. it's probably fine but the reason you have a breather is to stop old oil getting burned and put to atmosphere instead to increase efficiency. having what looks like a return and also a filter aswell is quite pointless.. but im not sure if it is a return.. confused.com lol

on my car the inlet is the bit on the car where my blue tube is connected 2 the cda filter is the carbon fiber round thing (the filter)

the bit u have circled on ur picture is the oil breather filter and if you look on mine they look like there done the same way so im guessing that yours is correct

on the top right of the airbox there's a pipe going into the back of it (you can just about see it)

I've put that to the middle section of my first picture. Is that right?

its to the glued on bit.

p.s, sorry for last repost, was an accident! haha
