vts san remo

    have vts san remo when first start car revs ok then revs go high and car does not idel thendrop and car run ok after about a mile car start too misss fire then it will run ok

    could be a number of things, check plugs, also any air vacuum pipes, clean the icv, when was the last time it was serviced?

    Sounds like you might have an air leak around your inlet manifold or maybe a manifold pressure sensor problem.
    I have 2 early Saxo VTS's and both have had the wires for the manifold pressure sensor brake at the plug causing a similar running issue to the one you're explaining, but mine was more consistant.
    Worth checking

    To be fair to the grammar police, the original 'question' didn't actually have a question mark. Technically it's a statement and not a question.

    I don't think people expect punctuation perfect posts but it does help if a post is legible and doesn't read like it was written by a five year old.

    San remo was a uk vts that had comp mo's and was lightly modified from a car dealer in Manchester iirc, so the op is not foriegn. So engage brain before opening mouth jasc
