what gearbox....

   do i have on my car? i was told it was a vts box..
   
   it hits the limiter in 1st gear at 30mph iirc and 65mph in 2nd...
   
   does this sound about right for a vts box on a vtr? or does it sound like a 1.1 box or a dieseal one? iam just going off what i was told when i brought the gearbox.

   Tooo vague, it can be any box you want it to be, your dials will be out etccc
   
   Only way of knowing is by the gearbox code, even then it might not be what it says it is.

   I don't really hit the limiter when driving but that sounds roughly what mine would do in them gears, but think thats what most cars do really.

   Sound more like a cadburys selection box mate, 30 in 1st then 65 in 2nd? My old vts used to do 40 in 1st then 60 tops in second.

   There isnt a gearbox that does this with a 6250rpm rev limit with saxo wheels.
