hi people i have a 2000 1.1 saxo forte and im wanting to do an engine conversion on it to a vts engine, but what i am woundering is when i change the wiring do i need 2 change the wiring loom in the cabbin? also does the wiring go into the cabbin if not? i know i will need 2 change all the speedo cables and imobiliser any thing else i would need 2 swap over?
    cheers

just get the new ecu unlocked by bluehawk, then you will have no need to change immobaliser.

when you come to do the conversion will you do it yourself? because i can put you intouch with the lad who did mine. hes a french and italian specialist. does all sorts of tuning

These are VERY wise words. Soo much fucking hassle and vts are piss cheap...

All your going to do it slap an engine in, insure it as a 1.1. Bin it and push our premiums up some more.
The amount of effort involved in a 1.1 isn't worth it really. It can be and has been done. Will cost a fortune though. Search for Willsy's scandal

hang on sorry but do you no me? im a mechanic and i can do the work my self and i was actually going to register it as a vtr/s, plus i thought about it being a street sleeper, something a bit different on sax-p, and tbh ive modded my saxo to my liking and just want more power out of it intstead of 'getting a vts' , all i wanted to no if there were any wiring that went into the cabbin or not, simple question really i dont want a rant about what im going to do...

so why dont you just buy a vts and rip the trims and shit off, put the bits you like off the 1.1 onto the new car and sell the car on. simple

i was gonna say exactly the same thing tbh that was a shit idea to "rip" the trim off a vts lol

a question to your answer is no you dont need the interior loom you just need the engine loom, the engine itself and the unlocked ecu, to be on the safe side you might as well take the immobiliser out only takes a few seconds to dissconnect it
