urgent help brown water in footwells?

    I've started noticing brown liquid dripping from the heaters to my feet and i keep needing to top my water up any ideas wat the fault might be? gonna sort it today along with my drive shaft lol cheers guys

    is that wat it is mate its coming both sides passenger and drivers i thought it would of been just needed comfirmation may sound stupid but do you still get heat if its goin??

    yes dash out, change it over, bleed coolant

    imo its best to strip the front end, depending how much is left around in firewall and scuttle, left to drip off . . .

    and work around the problem

    took all dash out today got matrix out now just gotta find a new one from where i dont know yet

    got one from general traffic near me for 28 plus vat so not oo bad cheers guys just hard work working in dark finish rest off tomorrow night now tired and cold ha ha

    As they say, sounds like the matrix, if you can't get it done straight away, you can bypass it with a length of 1/2" copper tube and 2 hose clips. Remove the 2 hoses at the bulkhead, put them on each end of the tube, tighten the clips well, top up coolant, and that's it! btw, hope it's not too cold where you are as the heater will only blow cold, naturally! good luck, Dave.
