Cutting out!

   Seen alot of these threads lately but all seem to be a little different. Had a De-cat fitted to my VTS and after a week or so it began to cut out. Would put my foot down then all of a sudden it would cut out and revs would slowly drop till the car completely stopped. After a while the car would start again but would continue to do this. It only does this with about 1/4 of a tank left and when I manage to get it to a garage to fill up again its fine.
   Really getting on my nerves as i've put a few cycles of redex through it, changed the lambda, given it a full service and still it cuts out.
   
   Thinking it might be the fuel pump is on its way out? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

   could be u'r fuel pipe full of gunk?
   
   also is it definitly low on petrol when it does this?
   - could be an innacurate fuel gauge, on my vts never had a problem with it but heard from a few people that the gauges sometimes become inbalanced or something

   Try changing the fuel filter they can get clogged up with sediment from the fuel tank.
