engine transplants!?!

    Hi all just wanted to ask what the engine change possibilities for my gutless 1.1 desire could be? 2.0 16v xsara? honda v-tech? any help would be great ta!

    not too deep after buying the car. what sort of money u think its gonna take for the whole buying and fitting roughly?

    couldt cost you up to and around 1600 for a full VTS conversion. maybe more. maybe less.

    vts is most realistic. the other 2.0l would make a saxo very front heavy giving poor handling.

    cant use that thing dude. not my comp + parental controle. 1600 sounds good to me may take a while to get though. i like your car btw lookin sweet.

    you may aswell just buy a vtr/s because the insurance will punish you for modifying a 1.1 to a 1.6+

    but would it be cheaper than insuring a vtr? vtr has all the extras so would be more on insurance?

    a NON modified vtr will be cheaper than a highly modified flat arch 1.1 heap
