Gearbox / Clutch Problems? *HELP*

    1. Car goes in to every gear when it's engine switched off
    2. Car struggles to go in 1st / 2nd when engines running
    3. No whining noises from gearbox (as far as I can tell)
    4. No crunching noises from gearbox (with the exception of a thud/thump noise when changing in to 1st/2nd while car is running) this is because of the amount of force you have to use to get it in to 1st / 2nd
    5. Car can be switched off put in to 1st and it takes off fine, no indication / signs of clutch problems
    6. Car can be switched off put in to 2nd and it takes off fine, no indication / signs of clutch problems
    7. 5th & Reverse are working fine when engine started

    Can someone help please? I'm going bonkers, could this be a clutch related issue or gearbox synchro's ?

    I have checked the gear linkages, all seems to be fine (they are upgraded Constella ones)

    clutch is either going or needs adjusting so that the clutch fully engages when you press the pedal

    Thanks for all you advice mate, I adjusted the clutch cable (next to the battery) tightened it, and it's now working fine! however I think the clutch is worn as such and I will be replacing it very soon.
