   i am having problems with the revs on my car. just seems to rev its self and i dont have to be touching anything. i was told to clean the idle control valve out but is this it and how do i get it off to clean it?

   yep theres usually 2 or 3 torx screws holding it in

   its usually located to the left of the throttle body but ye that looks like it mate

   ok so do i undo the 3 screws and it just pops off?

   yep, thers only 2 on mine but shud jst pull ou mate you'll probably find its covered in black sutty dirt

   Yeh that's it mate, just take it out and give it a good clean.

   and what is it that comes off? just the round icv or more?

   the round part you can see will come out and it will have a probe coming off it clean the prope. And just uplug the wire that goes into it before removal

    What to clean it with though? if it gets bust during the cleaning, how much do these things cost?
