VTR door will not shut properly and comes open when driving

   Hello
   
   Any one had the problem and solved it. Its not the adjustment on the post which the latch clicks on to etc. Does anybody have any pictures or diagrams for any easy replacement of parts?

   are you sure its not the latch has worn down too much being improperly adjusted?

   It could be the cach mechanism in the door that's sticking try spraying that with loads of WD and working it.

   Adjustment seems ok. I have soaked it in WD40 to no avail. I presume I will have to replace the door mechanism but just wandered if anyone has replaced and has advice etc.

   many times and they are a real fiddle!! 90% easy, last 10% is a pain

   yea as above. but it was the first lock we;d replaced so were going blind, but is just a pain if u have big hands.
