1.1 and 1.4 manifold, are they the same??

   Hi Guys,
   
   Could someone please tell me if the 1.1 and the 1.4 manifold is the same?? The 1.1 manifold I have is from a 2001 engine, and the 1.4 engine is 2002 (hope that makes sense)

   aah cheers mate, I should have asked u first! Ive got one on the 1.1 enigne so a'll just straight swap it then. I was just wondering whether they would be different size bores?

   the 1.1 is what, a 65bhp engine, with the 1.4 being 75bhp - and those figures are when they are healthy engines - with 60k+ on them I wouldn't worry about bore size tbh.
   
   Saying that, I don't think the bore size would be different

   All 8valves will have the same exhaust size wouldnt they as you get 4,2,1s which fit all 8 valves.
   
   So i would imagine all 8valve standard manifold headers will be the same.

   Yeah thats cool, but if I can get 1BHP extra out of it it will be worth it, as the only mods allowed in my class are exhaust (cat back) changes and a K&N air filter thats pretty much it!!

   sorry I couldn't have explained that much worse!! I meant would the 1.1 manifold bolt to the link pipe bit that comes from the 1.4 cat (again not explained very well) but im sure the answer will still be a resounding yes!

    I have looked under the car, and the cat joins at the manifold (square type) so is this exactly the same cat as the 1.4 or is it slightly smaller?
