Hi i have an anoying prob with the revs going up slightly around 500rpm every time i put the clutch down to change gear, this only starts to happen when engine is warm and been driven for a while, this is not the throttle cable as i have checked this and everthing i can think of hence this post! this even happens if you lift and depress clutch wilst in gear on idle without touching the throttle? it idles fine just a little lumpy, but reves up and down ok untill you put it in gear and drive? Can anyone help? Thanks!
Reves go up?

#3Is that the one on top of the throttle housing ? do you remove it to adjust it ?

#4theres a plug at the back of it.You adjust with the screw on the front.I wouldnt recomend it aas a long term thing mind, itll do until you get a ew icv tho.1 user thanked this post:

#5Is there a specific way of setting the icv up ive removed it and not sure what to do nxt? anybody? thanks

#6is it ticking over?just adjust the screw in or out accordingly to get the idle right. It wont be as good a normal but works as a temrorary measure and will stop it from sticking and causing the revs to climb..1 user thanked this post:
