Spax 30mm lowering springs

  1. #1
    Hey guys,

I have a 1.1 and i am wanting to lowering it about 30mm, i have seen the Spax springs lowering it 30mm for the 1.1. I did want to get a full suspension kit, but apparently the 35mm kit, could drop it by a fair bit more than 30mm due to the kit being for a 'R' or 'S'.

But the thing i wanted to know is if i bought the springs, what are the negative things about just changing the springs instead of changing the whole shocks too, or would it be alright just changing the springs?

    Cheers for the help

    Craig

Not too sure but in the haynes saxo guide it says changing just the springs can affect the braking and steering guess it would depend on the drop, I'd check it out before you do.

hey bud you wont incounter problems dropping it 30mm. its when you go to 60-70mm up front is when you need coilovers. hold on for a week or so. i will have 35mm springs for sale, will even deliever them to your door.
