PECO exhausts...

  1. #1
Heya guys, i have something to take back to halfords so i have a bit of credit towards something and so i have decided to buy my new backbox from there. The nicest one i have seen on offer is the 4" Slash cut (jap style) stainless steel PECO backbox... but i dont know much about exhausts. To be honest im not to worried about performance, i just want a nice sounding backbox and one that looks nice. Im also on a pretty tight budget and only just afford the PECO one..

I also read that the majority of PECO exhausts come out at a weird angle? i want this to comes out straight and obviously don't really want to bend it?

anyone got any advice? or pictures of one on a saxo? are they any good?

It is for a 1.4 saxo furio so my choice is slightly limited...

Any help would be muchly appreciated
    Many thanks

get a body shop to fit it and then you can have it coming out where you want and how you want and should only cost u between £25 - £50

well seems like you'v purchased a universal one (correct me if im wrong), for the same price mate you could have opted for a unbranded universal one, with a better design (keeping to the jap slah theme) i would have if that was my situoation, i remember a good site (closed now, called 'icon styling') were my mate purchased a universal backbox for his lsi civic hatch, it cost him a mere £70, a the garage guys fitted it straight with no probs at all, that said i think you;v gone ahead and bought the peco one, have it fitted by someone who knows what there doing, im sure they can get a aproved fit, not that hard.

I haven't bought it yet. But it has to come from halfords... and they have a limited range and only sell "branded" exhausts...

Got a quote today for £21 plus any parts (if needed) for fitting which is pretty dam good!

Just need to know if peco exhausts are actually any good

    Thanks
