hello i just brought a saxo vts and my mate seems to thinks its cammed is there ne clear signs that it could be cammed cheer matt

take the rockers off and look at the opposite end of the pulley see if it has anything stamped on it, if not then there is no easy way of telling without taking them out and measuring them with a dial gauge.

yeh ws thinking of doing that. Hes an engineer and says that it sounds on idle that it has cams

lol thats not a good test, some vts have crap idle, lumpy as feck but completly standard.
