Important! : vts conversion wont start

   just finished my conversion i started car yesterday with no exhaust on and started so turned off put exhaust on went to start and ran out of petrol so filled with petrol today went to start nothing then made a nice bang little bit of steam from near manifold. im guessing becuase if primes fuel system so many times it cant ignite what fuel is there or thats what im hoping any other ideas? baring in mind it started fine before doesnt help bat keeps dying

   could have puller some shite from the tank into the fuel filter ?
   
   Worth filling it up with more fuel and then new filter on it

   ye true although ive ran out of fuel so many times before and had been ok. ill try to start once more as battery charger takes ages haha if no luck then what. i dunno haha

   didnt start just turned over then after a few banged im thinking its a sparking issue as fuel is under nice pressure to inlet manifold maybe its flooded abit and the spark plugs are to ancient to provide for it

   i had very similar problems when i put a vts lump into my furio.. found out in the end it was because it was a 1 plug inlet manifold runnin on a 3 plug ecu... yeah it ran but lyk a bag of hammers.. spluttering all the time, cutting out, wouldnt rev proply....... might be tht or might not be if u havnt swapped looms or ecu etc??

    right i see but all the plugs have gone in properly using single plug ecu and loom

    haha it started the other day on just manifold and sounded good but turned off quikly and since ran out of fuel i think has prob sucked something up

    could be a bad earth, check the earths from the gearbox to the chasis

    is there two earths ring that go on the gearbox ?? have a green wire and black one goin there

    green on the loom bolts to gearbox
    battery earth bolts to battery, gearbox and chasis
    if the one of the connections is bad it can cause all the problems your having
