My spare wheel cage rattles but its tight helpp?

    Hi mi spare wheel cage rattles, i had new tyres the other day and since they put the best old tire on the spare its rattled but i have checked it quickly and it was tight and looked like it was onproperly what do i do ?

    check that they have put the spare wheel in the cage correctly and see if you can tighten the nut any more

    mine did the same i tied some very strong tape around the hinges to stop it rattyling lol

    ye i got so annoyed just toook my whole cage off but best bet is to have a fiddle around with the position and keep tightening
