    What are you getting?

My Furio is a 1.4 (same engine I'm assuming) and I'm getting 400 miles to a tank in the current cold weather (which also effects consumption. driving style will too).

Replaced fuel filter is bound to have some sort of impact

where can i find my fuel filter, just replaced air and want to replace fuel where iss itt! cheers
  7. #7
it will have no impact think about it all it does is filters fuel from any dirty parts that shouldnt be there if u removed it and just joined the pipes together it wouldnt make a difference although i wouldnt do it

but surely if its shot and full of crap then shits gona start getting through making your fuel crap and reducing economy . just a theory
  9. #9
the way ur sayin it surely it would make it worse as the more crap holdin the fule back where as now it will be free flowing

sayin that the engines only goin to drink what it needs
  10. #10
yeh exactlyyy i cant word it right
  11. #11
how is that logic ??!! thin about it the less fuel going through the less your car will use. if its blocked badly youl have some obvious performance isues but will most def not use more fuel as like ure saying mite be blocked. think about it....

all it does is stop foreign objects ie dust grit ets from being able to reach injectors an beyond if it was faulty would cause fuel starvation which u would notice
