Missfire, Engine Management Light flashing

   My saxo vts was missfiring so I changed the coilpack and the car seems to be working fine now but the engine management light is still flashing? Why is this? A friend said that the problem may be recorded on the cars history and needs to be hooked up to a diagonostic machine and taken off using the machine?

   mine did this!! take your battery leads off for 5 mins ,it should re set its self.................................

   resetting the ecu??? 5mins? i thot this takes a few hours?? i cud b wrong

   No!! if you remover the battery leads for 5 mins then when you re fit them the engine warning light wil go out..........if you have problem with your ecu thing to get it plugged up.........
