Gearboxes...which one to go for?

   Got hold of a nice new 106 gti engine but unfortunately doesn't come with gearbox so at present looks like may have to use my VTR one
   
   I've heard many a gearbox can be fitted to the saxo but don't really know the pro's and con's of them all.
   
   Im after decent acceleration but don't want a massive fuel bill when im going down the motorway at 9million rpm in 5th lol
   
   Opinions?

   VTS gearbox will be spot on.

   Search button FTW
   
   VTR box is too long
   VTS is the best option for mpg,top speed,accel
   106 S1 rallye much better acceleration,lower top speed and worse MPG
   
   so if you using car daily,vts box is what u looking for...

   stick with the vts box mate,,,,ive just changed mine and stuck with the s box,,,,,drove a vtr with s engine but with the r box,,,,,far too long imo,dint feel half as lively as mine
