more performance??

   i know some of you have probably seen me put a few post on here already tonight but as iv got a new engine so i can actually 'try' to modify it without it dieing from bottom end failure so im not curiouse, but what can i do to my mk 1.1 engine to make it have that little more bhp, i really ( please dont ask why) want to get it as quick as possible from a 1.1, haha

   Turbo or supercharger would be "quick as possible"
   
   But to start go for:
   
   4-2-1 manifold
   Good catback exhaust
   Performance panel filter
   
   But tbh most will tell you it's a waste of time and to wait until you can afford at least a 1.4 or more

   VTR engine for about £100.
   
   Instant 90bhp.

   haha, i have seen them so called erm gadgets, they look the nuts, haha jokes, so the ones off a vtr fit? oh yh in the engine compartment whats the transponder?? thanks

   can i leave standard back box on or will this hinder power? i sort of like it being hidden

    id just stick to a raceland 4-2-1 mani and a green panel filter with a cold air feed and a supersprint centre section if your keeping standard back box and wont cost too much for that little lot plus they will be interchangable if you ever get a 1.4 or 1.6 8v

    will it really put the bhps to 90 just from a 4-2-1? i had my last engine dynod at college put out 48.8 completly standard, this one feels slightly quicker, so ur telling me it will double my bhps? thnaks

    I said put a VTR engine in your car (under the bonnet not in the boot), they have 90bhp as standard.
