    right i finally got my vts concersion running but when it starts it sounds like an old dog its like a tractor and idles like its gonna stall why is this??

    exhaust connected up?

    all fluids in? and at correct levels.

    give the ICV a clean

    as said above also servicing the engine may help as 90% of vts lumps have been stood so plug may be faulty etc

    LAMBDA, ICV, MAP.

    You tried the ode disconnecting of the battery since you got it running to clear the error log on the ECU?

    all topped up it sounds like its coming from manifold prob fucked mani gasket but the sound is horrible also touch of accelerator does nothing just splutters

    WHat have you done so far?

    Have you literally just bought an engine and stuck it in?

    Or have you already changed spark plugs and done the basic service?

    Have you got the fuel return line, and have you got the fuel lines the right way round on the fuel rail?

    Have you connected up all other vacuum hoses leading off the inlet manifold?

    put engine in i guess ye all pipes connected and no theres no return fuel line cant get hold of one
