failed MOT

   Ok it failed on front wiper not clearing properly, its missing the spring.
   
   Both headlamps, because pervious owner had bent the reflective thing down and it wasnt creating a beam but more like a blob.
   
   rear breakdiscs.
   
   exhaust emissions.
   
   1. so i need a wiper spring, apart from main dealers does anyone know where i can get, garage wants £24 for it. easily get 1 from the scrapyard but i cant seem to find the nearest citreon breaker yard to nottingham. i wanna go get 1 rather then be delivered it. im on a tight schedule.
   
   2. just bent the refelctive things back.
   
   3. rear discs are worn. need new ones, but the manager said, if u change ur disc, you have to change the pads as well?? is that true?
   
   4. crack in exhaust made emitions fail, gonna get them to weld it for £50, is that reasonable.

   u can get a new exhaust part for that and a weld will last a fraction of the life a new one would

   where is the crack in the exhaust ive got a vts centre section if thats any good

   we break saxos and are in ilkeston, got plenty of wiper arms

   As above you dont HAVE to change rear pads but really it is industry standard to change the pads if you change the discs

    so say your driving along and a t5 does its checks on your car, does it not know whether you have mot or not?
