Straight Through NOT LOUD!!!

   Call me cheap but I made my own straight through centre pipe at the weekend and paired it with a nice Scorpion backbox.
   
   BUT could some tell me why it is not very loud?
   
   Is it the bore size of the centre section or the fact the Scorpion has a lot of baffle in it?
   
   I still have my cat. But if I de-catted it, would it mess up my car?
   
   Sounds sad BUT I really do want my car to be really RASPY and plain loud
   
   Please some one advise me!!!

   is the backbox a straight threw cause it's probably that. a don't think de-catting will mess it up in anyway either.

   Well you can see right through it so it is in that respect.

   I lopped off the middle silencer on my standard exhaust so I think its 2". And stuck some tube on the end of that.

   I bolted in a decat, and paired that with a cobra 4 inch jap can, standard centre section and that was f**king loud. Put the cat back on now as it was too loud for me....

    a got a cobra 5 inch on mine with a de-cat an four branch manifold an that was to loud to cause a got done for it. a think it's really the choice of backbox.
