Cambelt when changing cams?

  1. #1
I'm going to be installing my new cams this week but not sure if I should be replacing the cam belt and tensioner too as I think they were only replaced a couple of thousand miles ago. I know it recommends replacing them when changing cams but is it needed if the belt is still pretty new?

    Cheers

Replace belt for sure 100% if it is ever disturbed, keep the tensioner though if it that new.

Agree'd with the above - if your taking it off, then may as well put a new one on for the sake of £20

Cheers people. Don't mind changing the belt really as that is the cheap bit.
