vtr to furio

   hi does anyone know if any set of mk 2 clocks can be put in any mk2 car sounds silly i know but i recently changed a set and was having trouble with the temperature gauge saying it was cold when the engine was hot etc ive put this down to a dodgey set of clocks but before i buy another set found one from a furio has anyone heard of this being a straight swap? thanks peeps

   As far as I know no problems with changing vtr to furio and visa versa. Long as they are MK2 to MK2 or MK1 to MK1.

   hey stevo i brought a set and changed them and the thermostat on the dials was the wrong way round ie engine was cold stat showing hot etc maybe just dodgey set of dials i dunno brought new ones yesterday hope that these ones are ok they are the digital ones mk2 so guess all digital ones are the same

   Mk2 to Mk2 is fine. If I remember correctly you can put mk2 dials in a mk1 but the petrol gauge will read incorrectly.
   
   IIRC for mk2 dials since they are digital, the mileage on the new clocks you put in will be added to the mileage of the original dials which will be stored in the ECU. So if the original car had done 40k and the car the clocks come from had done 60k, the dials will read 100k when you put them in the car.
