   EGR and Crank sensor?
   Not a clue where they are?

   crank sensor is on the front of the engine, halfway up the gearbox bellhousing/engine face

   is it the one on the gearbox sticking straight up near where you can top up the gearbox oil?

   no mate thats not the 1. At the font of the gearbox facing the fan will be a plastic bracket sort of thing with a sensor going into it. thats the crank sensor.
