minor tweeks?

   are there any sort of minor tweeks possible to the engine or anything to give more power better sound anything? without spending money and just going out with tool kit?
   if not what stuff can you do for better power, speed, sound etc. for £100 and under?

   not much if you are a jammy get you can get manifold and good exhaust for that but you'd need to be ubber lucky. If you want sound then cheap open air filter but then again will probably be worse a bit?
   
   Keeping oe could always change downpipe and oe exhaust system but difference again are bugger all

   just trying to think of all round mods which arent nothing major and keep budget down then later on move onto bigger things any suggestions?

   As above strip it out, could have a go at porting the throttle body but it's easy to get wrong (I ruined 2 practising, got it right now though )

   what does that do how much does it cost? and what are consequences of gettin it wrong?

   Cost = £free (It's a DIY mod unless you get someone else to and then it's about £20 - £30)
   
   And you basically make the size of the throttle body bigger by 1 or 2mm, and it makes the throttle response better.

    If you asking these sort of questions then don't give it ago, if it goes wrong you will need a new one (About £30 second hand on here)
    
    Throttle response is basically the time it takes the car to start accelerating when you put your foot down, with this mod it picks up quicker.

    Not something a garage would do mate, may aswell just save up for a good exhaust system

    what type of exhuast system striaght through one or something? any buying advice like websites prices and what goods to buy?
