Rocker cover

    mine is in a very sorry state and i think it might be to far gone for a rub down and paint. Is there anywere i could buy a new one?

    scrapper mate their all the same on the 8v engines as far as im aware!!

    most covers ive seen are in the same state thats why i wanted a brand new one :/

    shitroen mite b the only place for a new one then, unless sum1 on here has a recond one

    they still produce them £13.42 + VAT

    may be an idea to change your rocker cover gasket depending on condition (id also get this from citroen)

    gasket £11.50 + VAT

    brilliant! ill be off to order one the next time i get 5mins spare, ill also replace the gasket while the coovers off for the sake of £11.50.

    btw, you'll need to order the rocker cover and pay in advance i believe, takes about 2 days to come in

    can you use any paint to spray the rocker cover or as it got 2 be heat spray might be a dumb question bt i jst woke up thanks

    You need either hammerite or High temp paint. Halfords sell both.

    how does hammerite look, i was thinking that way but you get that poor finish
