Important! : saxo engine change, now car wont start

   Hi all, i did an engine change on my saxo and put a peugeot 106 engine in it, kept the saxo ecu and wireing loom on the car. everything works but cant seem to get a spark, its not the coil and all the wires are connected. Any ideas? would be gratefull.

   crank sensor?
   
   its the one located inthe gearbox face, just by the block

   hello, thanks for the reply, what would need doing to the crank sensor?
   Anything in particular i should be checking for?

   well ovbouisly check it connected.
   
   However, ive done what you have done, and basically the connection inside the connector had come unsoldered/unattached. everything would turn over, petrol was getting there and there was no spark.

   Hi, thanks for replying again. i think that might be what it is, there was one wire left over, couldnt work out where it went.
