Right ive got 2 problems with my vts which are really bugging me. The first is the steering wheel. If i hold the wheel with the car stationary i can move it up and down and left to right, as if the wheel itself is not bolted down properly!! ive taken the airbag off and the bolt is tight. looking at it closer it is the shaft going through the dash thats loose. as if there is supposed to be a bearing around it in place after the steering wheel and its missing!! the steering itself works fine but this bit of play really gets on my tits when im driving it!!
second problem is the central locking. the problem is it wont lift the pin on the drivers door. so if i try and use the fob to unlock it the passenger door and boot open, but because the drivers door doesnt they both lock again!!! as the barrel on the drivers door is fooked im having to quickly open the passenger door before it locks again to get into the car and lift the pin on the drivers door manually. chew on to say the least!!!! but the pin will go down using the central locking, just not up.
Any ideas????
