Does it happen when you Lift off the throttle or Dip the clutch?

I had this on my old 106, it was loose bolts/exhaust section not secured properly.

I'd get a weird squeek in gears 1 and 2, when changing gear. Also would happen when stationary with the handbrake on, and I deliberatly lifted the clutch just past the biting point so it was borderline on stalling (sounds stupid, but thats how I determined what it was). Was an easy fix as I have access to a ramp.

Chucked it on the ramp, (and when cold) moved the exhaust back and forth slightly and could see that this was the problem.

I probably could have explained that better

yeah cuz the exhaust moves bk and forwards with engine when stop and starting get ur exhaust rubbers changed spray some wd on springs thaT i told u about recently had new stainless when that was changed with new rubbers avnt had squeaks if that fails m8 i just turned the stereo up lol but know what u feel like can be annoying

Its quite common with cheap pattern exhaust parts (not saying this is the case as I don't know) as they don't always fit 100% etc. But its worth nipping down a local garage if you're getting annoyed, At my Dads place he doesn't charge anything to sort it if its just the rubbers or needs rebolting, but may not be the case elsewhere.
