fitting map sensor?fixing my problemo

   my car has had a problem for ages now when i drive randomley (not very often) it holds back jerks abit then drives fine again i changed the map sensor to a new one and this made it alot worse doing it all the time revs bouncing up and down so i put the old one back on and it was fine (happening very randomley not very often) do you need to do something when fitting a new one reset the ecu or something
   
   also i thought it might have been the lambda sensor as its drinking fuel changed that today and the problem has got worse again happening more ofter

   Anyone also when i pull of it randomley holds back kicks in then holds back then shoots off this is begining to b a rite pain in my ass
