Alarm/central locking question

  1. #1
I have a mk1 Saxo VTS and I'm wondering if it is possible to disconnect the alarm control unit and still run the central locking?
The central locking is a small control unit on the bulkhead and he alarm seems to be a seperate control unit on the side of the heater box.
I see no reason why not I was just wondering if anyone could/has tried this or had any experience doing this?
I can't just unplug mine and try it as my car is stripped at the moment, I just wanted to know before I started building it back up.

    Cheers
