grinding noise when depressing clutch over 3000 revs

hi when i am depressing the clutch over 3000 revs giving the old vtr a bit of gas i hear what can only be descrobed as a rattleing noise, it sounds like its coming from the front of the car. it only ever happens when the clutch is depressed, never when idleing speed or does not continue when driving with the cluch engaged. also the cluch is very high and slips a little in second gear for a couple of seconds, could these be realted

could be your release bearing mate, if it does it when clutch isnt pressed could be a motion shaft bearing, but as you say it only does it when pressed, more than likely ur release bearing
