VTR Center Section

    I know this maybe a stupid question but i have a standard center section on my vtr and a mates given me a straight through, i.e no center box/resonator, does this make a big difference in sound, I dont know whether to bother fitting it if theres no difference as my exhaust sounds really nice just a bit quiet lol. cheers , rich.

    A mate of mine has a mk2 vtr. He has a straight through pipe from the manifold to the back box and tbh.. it sounds like a tractor lol. Bear in mind though hes used a piece of scafolding pipe... so im guessing a proffesional straight through pipe might sound a bit better.

    ok lol well the backbox is 200 odd quid so shouldnt sound too bad anyway
