3 bolts on drivers driveshaft
-
#1
i've got 2 undone i can see underneath, but where the hell is the 3rd
-
#2Do you mean the intermediate bearing? There is no bolts on the actual driveshafts themselves.
1) Intermediate bearing has two lug ended bolts that need to be rotated.
2) Driveshaft needs to be removed from the hub end after removing the big nut on the end of the draveshaft
3) Withdraw driveshaft. -
#3got them 2 out and it still won't pull free
-
#4try harder its just tight in there. I had to use a ball joint splitter on mine to leaver the bearing carrier against the driveshaft to get it out!!
-
#5your not undoing the whole bracket for the bearing housing are you, that has 3 bolts on. you only want to be undoing the two lug ended bolts and it should pull out. let me know if your really stuck. I'll nip round.

#6As above. Loosen and twist the lug end bolts out the way. There are only.
I used a collection of cold chisels to slowly ease the bearing from the housing. Tight as fook!
