Well the rallye has been running like shit since the past two months, It's covered 100k ( Car is 12 years old ) So i'm thinking of maybe just biting the bullet and buying a vts/gti engine and just keeping things nice and simple.. So the car is cammed, Piper 270 Fast road cam i figured i could sell this along with the dastek ecu to make a little extra money towards the vts engine?
Anyone think i should go ahead and just 16v it and get a fresher smoother engine i know that hasn't been abused.. Or is it not worth the hassle? I just feel like at least i could rely on the fresh engine then and the car would be cleaner once i remove the 8v and get the bay re painted? Help would be great.
