immoboliser issue??

   Basically my car cut out and won't start,i go to start the car up but as i turn the key it makes a click noise and everything just switches off and then the radio etc comes back on.Iirc when you first turn the key you get the immoboliser light show up and when you start the engine it goes off?if so my light don't show up.immoboliser issues or something like a starter motor problem?also the car cannot be bump started try many times.Any help is appreciated

   take the immobliser out or get it on a diagnostics test ?

   how easy is it to take out?i was thinking that but i'd pull the wrong stuff out or something knowing my luck lol
