Quick question, power steering pipe

   Alright guys, quick reply would be good here, rep will be given ;-) is the power steering pipe that rubs on some low cars one piece the whole way from the pump up too the piston type thing? (Soz dont know the name)

   Yes mate, i replaced mine the other day. Its just one long pipe mate that wraps round the back of the engine !!

   Safe I thought so, just wanted to check before I bought one. It rubbed through on the metal part at the end

   Yeh that's what happened on mine, Well it cost just over 70 pounds from citreon mate, thats where i bought my new pipe from

   is it easier to let it rub thru first or replace before it happens? mines lowered but i didnt know about the pipe until about a week ago..

   Im pretty sure mine wasn't anything to do with the lowering, it was the metal part at the end not the actual pipe that wore, and it was no where near anything that would have moved when I lowered it. Just have a look and if its rubbing bend it out the way and it should be fine mate
   By the way, anyone know if the pipe is the same on mark 1's and 2's?
