painting interior plastics

   thinking bout brighting up the interior in my vtr and want to give it a go myself anyone done this before and whats the best way to prep and what paint to use so that the paint dont flake off in a few months would i iv 2 laquer these after finish mechanics i dont mind but paint wudnt av a clue thanks all

   you would need spray paint and lacquer from Halford's etc, would recommend primer as well, wet n dry sand paper around 1200.
   clean the part to be painted in soapy water to remove dirt and grease then sand lightly, dry thoroughly then leaving 15-20 minutes between coats apply 3 layers of primer, spray paint then lacquer sand lightly between each primer/paint layer

   id recommend white for a black car, would stand out better.

   white seems to be the thing at mo was thinkin chrome now am swaying to white decisions decisions lol

   go for white in a black car looks ace its what ive done just dont go to ott lol!
