    Hi just wondering if any one could help i think its my head gasket or crackin the liner but ill ask anyways.

    My Saxo 1.1i mk1 has OIL in the Rad water tank, My car when driven for 10 min when you turn off the car the fans kick in, And since i noticed all this oil in my radiator my Heater only blows out cold air could anybody tell me why this is cheers. Is the headgasket bieng broken effecting my heating in the car?

    headgasket gone... doesnt matter about heating lol

    It could affect the heating, as it may have caused loss of coolant, and it's the coolant that provides the heat in the heater, so if you're low on coolant your heater's usually the first thing to go. (On most cars that is - my saxo knowledge is weak!). So it's possible the two are related. But if you've oil in your water I'd not be going far in it anyway. Have you got water in your oil too?

    (Will usually look like mayo when they mix)

    or worse, just strip it down and investigate.

    wel my car has done 122thousand miles any way so brought a new engine which has 60k just waiting on it to be fitted as for wate in oil i dont think there is cheers for the replys all
