Gearbox earth

   Hi all just put a new gearbox on my vts and i have found one spare black wire that runs from the negative battery terminal, question is does this extra black cable go on the box somewhere and if it does where?

   theres 2 earths bolted on the box, one is to a 13mm bolt sat straight on top of the box, other one goes to a bolt near the starter motor mounting bolts

   i have same prob any pics of where it goes i have the one on top of the box connected
