need some help form the conversion nuts (engine conversion for 306)

    any one shed any light on doing a vts conversion in to a 1.4 8v tu engined 306 will it be pritty mutch a strait swap. is the wireing going to be a pain engine mounts are going to be pritty simler i will just use the 1.4 gearbox ..
    i dont want to go for the gti6 engine just to not follow the crowd and keep it light any info will be a great help

    should be geting round to this very soon as think the head gaskit is going so any info on wireing ecu would be great

    Saxo VTS engine is not exactly light its a big lump of Iron. But if you really want to fit one you would have the same sort of issues as fitting it to any other car that takes TU engines. I would imagine wiring is not a direct plug an play. If its a carb car you also have to think about fuel pump and fuel lines and so on. You still have to think about key pad or key codes or unlocking the ECU. You aslo hace have to mod the manifold / down pipe and so on

    oryt just seen that the power steering pump is engine powered on the 306 as well how mutch lighter will the vts lump be compered to the gti6? going to check the lads thread that put one in the 205 gave me some idea what im in for
