Rally Exhaust

   im looking for an exhaust which gives a nice rally sound rather than a loud meaty sound
   something like mil tex i think theyre called?
   but like cheaper ones?

   Have a look at:
   
   > Supersprint 2" race system
   > Saxsport
   > OMP group n
   
   Also get a decat and a Supersprint or any good 4-2-1 manifold and you will have your "rally" sounding exhaust system, or as close as you can get without spending mega money.

   Supersprint's what your looking for by the sounds of it. Keep your eye on the for sales and you could bag a bargain.

   Yeah i was gonna suggest the above. especially the omp group n. awesome exhaust. only second hand now though so can make them hard to find

   The OMPs arn't made anymore and rarely come up second hand.

   No Kam is the cheapest as far as i am aware, you may be able to pick on up a little cheaper in the for sale section second hand however.

    I havn't heard a Miltek in real life so i can't comment, but the supersprint is a very popular choice and is amongst the best sounding (In my opinion)

    my mates like full on rich
    and his mum bought him a £750 Miltek for his 18th and hes not 18 yet :L
    and it sounds full on lush like a proper rally car like
    and thas what i want mine to sound like but dont have the cash like him D:

    Never heard of a system costing £750 for the Saxo, especially not a Miltek. Even the BTB only cost £500 or so, i think he is telling you porkies mate

    Has he got the manifold aswell? As that could possibly just about break £700 if he has that aswell as the system.

    The system will refresh at 45 minutes past the hour, you have 44 minutes left until it refreshes and you can then gain access to the for sale section.

    If you like the milltek one, i think on a budget, you could find clearance stock prices for about £350-500, as they dont really sell them that cheap.
    
    If you like the milltek, look at the systems on www.cituning.com (i think its .com) they have them for something like £300 odd for the backbox and the center pipe, but milltek manifolds cost about £360 and they dont make them to 1 order - they only do them batch orders now unfortunetly!
    
    Edit: also you may need to spend more money buying a decat pipe for it at another £70 + £14 carrage (dont know why they charge so much) it wont decat your car - but you will need it unless you can find a MK2 System of milltek.
    
    Supersprint has a nice sound, unfortunetly its very common so if you want to go different - you have to go different by going more expensive, BTB are another good exhaust if you wanna have a different sound from every other saxo - and they sound the dogs balls.

    Generally the sound from Rally cars is more induction rather than exhaust. This is from the likes of F2 or S1600 and so on. The only way you can recreate this is by extensive engine mods and throttle bodies. Or if your talking the whistling and popping of the top rally cars these are all turbos and again the only way you can get this sort of sound is with a turbo.
